Can You Imagine?

My heart broke the first time I went to Africa as I watched children as young as 2 years old (could have been even younger) walking down the street alone carrying their bowl to get their only meal of the day. They came and sang songs, played games, heared a Bible story and then got their daily meal. Then I would watch them leave and wonder where are they going, do they even have a home, do they have parents? What broke my heart is that for some of them the answer was NO! Can you imagine? What if that was your child? I came back from that trip with a heart and a passion to make a difference. Join me in making a difference in the lives of these children!!!!

A New Season

Dear Family, Friends & Supporters,
First I want to thank you for all the prayers and support you have poured into my life throughout the years. I would not be where I am today without you.
I am so excited about this new season God is moving me into. As many of you know when I returned from Africa 5 years ago I returned with a heart that ached for the children I met there. I have spent the past 5 years allowing God to use you and others to prepare me for the open door that is now before me to go to Mozambique, Africa for 3 months to serve Pastors Isaac & Carol Williams.
During the 3 months in Mozambique I will be working with these great leaders at the HPC campus. I will be training their leaders in everything from basic computer skills and budgeting finance to helping with their children’s ministry and anything else they need.
Just to tell you a little bit about what goes on in Mozambique; there are 500 children fed daily, 250 of those are in Nkobe, which is where I will be living. Some of these children are single orphan, some are double orphan, but most are living in vulnerable situations. As a church we have about 100 young people who attend youth service each week, 40 women involved in our women’s ministry and 140 adults and 270 children who attend Sunday morning services. As you can see in Mozambique the children out number the adults at a 2:1 ratio. Where as churches here in the states the adults out number the children at a 6:1 ratio.
Please join me in making a difference in Mozambique, Africa. I am asking that you prayerfully consider partnering with me so I can serve our campus and its pastors in Mozambique. My airfare, living expenses and travel insurance will be $7,500.00 for those 3 months and I must raise $3,000.00 of that amount by December 1st so I can purchase my plane ticket. The remaining $4,500.00 will be due by January 15th and this amount will cover my living expenses while I am there. If God is leading you to unite with me in this new season you can give online at www.goglobalmissions.com or make checks payable to Go Global Missions or Healing Place Church and return to me at my home address. Any donation you make will be tax deductible and very much appreciated. Please expect updates from me as I move toward the goal He has set before me. Thank you again for taking the time to consider me in this next part of my journey. Your prayers and support are going to mean so much.
All for His Glory!!!!
